Changing the Status Quo:
Consumer Packaging Preferences Are Being Refined

IRi Bemis Survey, Ovenable Packaging

A recent study revealed that when consumers were asked to compare package formats and select the packages that they would ‘definitely buy’ or ‘probably buy,’ oven-safe, leak-free packaging was rated significantly higher than traditional foam trays with overwrap.4

Overall, the oven-safe, leak-free package was rated the highest with 69% of consumers saying they would ‘definitely buy’ or ‘probably buy’ that type of package, compared to 67% for regular leak-free packaging and just 50% for foam trays with overwrap.4
